From serving in the Air Force to supporting maternal health as a doula, and now living in rural Eastern NC, my journey has given me a unique perspective on community needs. As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I understand the unique challenges veterans face during transition and beyond. Living in rural Eastern NC has deepened my connection to local communities, showing me firsthand the critical importance of food security and community support systems in underserved areas.

My experience as an educator and Registered Behavior Technician taught me the importance of clear communication, measurable outcomes, and individualized support.
